By accessing or using the FaceMirror platform at facemirror.online ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including individual users and professional partners (coaches, consultants, and other practitioners).
FaceMirror is a multimodal behavioral self-reflection platform. It records speech, facial expressions, and a validated self-report instrument to generate a two-layer behavioral profile ("Recognition + Shift").
The Platform is designed exclusively for:
FaceMirror outputs are not clinical diagnoses, medical assessments, or certified psychometric evaluations.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using FaceMirror, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
The Platform is not available to residents of the Russian Federation.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Session data — including audio, video, and questionnaire responses — is processed to generate your behavioral profile. Data handling practices are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.
All content, methodology, software, and design elements of the Platform are the exclusive property of FaceMirror and its founders. Two patent applications have been filed (Russia, 2026); PCT filing is planned for October 2026.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without express written permission.
Your behavioral profile and report are provided to you for personal use only and may not be republished or redistributed without consent.
FaceMirror outputs are not psychiatric or psychological diagnoses. Results are not valid for employment screening, legal proceedings, forensic evaluation, or any context requiring certified psychometric evidence.
The Platform is provided "as is." FaceMirror makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FaceMirror shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
This section applies to residents of the State of Illinois, USA, and is provided in accordance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), 740 ILCS 14.
FaceMirror processes facial geometry and voice characteristics that may constitute biometric identifiers or biometric information under BIPA. By using the Platform, you explicitly consent to the collection, use, and storage of such biometric data for the sole purpose of generating your behavioral self-reflection profile.
Biometric data is retained for no longer than 36 months from the date of your last session, or until you submit a deletion request, whichever comes first. Biometric data is never sold, leased, traded, or otherwise disclosed for profit. Upon expiration of the retention period or upon deletion request, biometric data is permanently destroyed.

FaceMirror reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to users, the Platform, or third parties.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without regard to conflict of law principles.
